Mateja Lorber is an associate professor at the University of Maribor, Faculty Health Science. Her main research interest and lecturing are gerontology nursing, managing chronic disease, and leadership and management in nursing. She has presented her work at international scientific conferences and published original scientific papers. She has received the highest award from the Association of Nursing Care and Midwifery of Slovenia .
