Dr. Iroh is a professor of Materials Science and Engineering in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department at the University of Cincinnati. His initial appointment was as an assistant professor in 1991. He was subsequently promoted to the rank of associate professor with tenure and to the rank of full professor in 1997 and 2002, respectively. He has published over 300 papers and filed 4 U.S. patents and 1 WIPO patent. Professor Iroh is a fellow of the Society for the Advancement of Materials and Process Engineering, SAMPE.
