Prof. Dr. Ants Kallaste is currently a Professor of Electrical Power Engineering and Mechatronics at the Tallinn University of Technology, Tallinn, Estonia. He received his BSc (2004), MSc (2006), and Ph.D. (2013) degrees in electrical engineering from the Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia. He worked as a Senior Researcher at the Tallinn University of Technology, Department of Electrical Power Engineering and Mechatronics in 2015–2020. He holds the position of Head of the Electrical Machines Research Group. He is a member of the IEEE and the Estonian Society of Moritz Hermann Jacobi. His main research interest is the design of electrical machines.
