Vinicius Cavalheri is the Allied Health Research Director at South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) and the Faculty of Health Sciences at Curtin University, as well as an Associate Professor at the Curtin School of Allied Health. He has a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in physiotherapy, and his main field of research is exercise training and promotion of physical activity in people with chronic lung diseases. He has published over 120 papers and received many awards for his research, including the 2018 Curtin University Early Career Researcher of the Year and the 2020 Cancer Council WA’s Early Career Cancer Researcher of the Year.
