Wagner Dias Casagrande was born in Vitoria, Espírito Santo, Brazil, in 1993. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Multivix University Center, Brazil, in 2015, and the M.S. degree in biomedical engineering and signal processing from the Federal University of Espirito Santo, Brazil, in 2019. His research interests include machine learning and signal Processing with a focus on biomedical engineering. Ester Miyuki Nakamura Palacios Medical Doctor degree from Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU-MG), Master’s Degree in Psychopharmacology and PhD in Psychobiology from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Post-Doctorate in Therapeutic and Behavioral Pharmacology from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center. She is currently a retired Full Professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo - ES and works in the area of Neurosciences. ANSELMO FRIZERA-NETO (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES), Vitoria, Brazil, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics from the Universidad de Alcal´a, Spain, in 2010. From 2006–2010, he was a Researcher with the Bioengineering Group, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). He is currently a Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, UFES. His research interests include rehabilitation robotics, optical and electronic sensors for industrial and biomedical applications and biomedical signal processing.
