Gihyun Lee received his M.D. and Ph.D. at the KyungHee University College of Korean Medicine. After the Ph.D. course, he entered into the Yale University School of Medicine as post-doctoral associate. He served as a team leader in herbal remedy at the National Development Institute of Korean Medicine, a temporary advisor of the WHO's Western Pacific Region Office, and a member of ISO/TC249. Moreover, he was a lead guest editor of Evidence-based Complement and Alternative Medicine from 2017 to 2018. Currently, he is a professor of Dongshin University College of Korean Medicine.
