Godfred Antony Menezes is a Professor at the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, RAK Medical and Health Sciences University. He earned his MSc in Medical Microbiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), MAHE, Mangalore, India, in 2003 and his Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), India, in 2012. He was an Associate Professor at the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, RAKCOMS, RAKMHSU, UAE, from 2017 to 2022. He was elected as a Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Emirates Society of Clinical Microbiology, ESCM, part of the Emirates Medical Association. He has been a Coordinator for training Afghan students in Diagnostic Bacteriology for the World Health Organization (WHO) since November 2019.
