Stefanos Kollias has been a Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), since 1997. He has also been a Professor of Machine Learning at the School of Computer Science, University of Lincoln, UK, since 2016. He obtained an M.Sc. in Communication Engineering from the Institute of Science and Technology, University of Manchester, and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from NTUA. He received a Ph.D. in Signal Processing from the Computer Science Division at NTUA. He has previously held positions as an Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer at NTUA. He is an IEEE Fellow with world-leading research experience in machine and deep learning and its applications. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of the European Neural Network Society and the European Commission Expert Group on AI for Cultural Heritage, and he has served as Chairman of the Board of the Greek National Infrastructures for Research and Technology.
