Prof. Dr. Liwang Liu currently serves as a professor and vice director of the Engineering Research Center of Horticultural Crop Germplasm Enhancement and Utilization, College of Horticulture, Nanjing
Agricultural University, China. He completed his Ph.D in Crop Genetics and Breeding and M.S. in Vegetable Sciences from Nanjing Agricultural University, China. He worked at the Department of Plant Sciences, NDSU, USA, as a postdoc. He is associate editor-in-chief of some monographs and textbooks including Chinese Radish, The Science of Seed and Seedling. His main research interests include vegetable crop genetics and breeding, biotechnology in horticulture, and applied plant genomics.
