Rachael Piltch-Loeb holds a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University (2012), MSPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (2015), and PhD in Public Health from New York University (2019). She completed postdoctoral training at the Harvard T H Chan School of Public Health. Piltch-Loeb is currently an Assistant Professor at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and a Senior Fellow at the Harvard T H Chan School of Public Health with the Emergency Preparedness Research Evaluation and Practice Program. Dr. Piltch-Loeb’s work focuses on research, measurement, and evaluation of public health emergency preparedness and response and how to more effectively engage the public during public health emergencies.
