Dr. Biljana Lončar received her M.Sc. and PhD. degrees in Technological Engineering from the Faculty of Technology in the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Novi Sad, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. She has been employed at the University of Novi Sad, at the Faculty of Technology, in the Department of Chemical Engineering, since 2011 and is presently a Senior Research Fellow. She started as a Researcher on the project "Osmotic dehydration of food–energy and environmental aspects of sustainable production" at the Faculty of Technology, funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia (2011–2019). The main fields of her research interests are animal and plant raw material dehydration, osmotic dehydration, and chemometrics. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles in international scientific journals, periodicals, and conference proceedings.
