Prof. Javier Contreras

Javier Contreras received a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Zaragoza, Zaragoza, Spain, in 1989; an MSc from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 1992; and a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA, in 1997. He is a Professor at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Ciudad Real, Spain. His research interests include power systems planning, operation, and economics, as well as electricity markets.
