To date, two chimeric antigen receptors (CAR)-T cell products from autologous T cells have been approved by The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The case-by-case autologous T cell generation setting is largely considered as a pivotal restraining cause for its large-scale clinical use because of the costly and prolonged manufacturing procedure. Further, activated CAR-T cells mainly express immune checkpoint molecules, including CTLA4, PD1, LAG3, abrogating CAR-T anti-tumor activity. In addition, CAR-T cell therapy potently results in some toxicity, such as cytokine releases syndrome (CRS). Therefore, the development of the universal allogeneic T cells with higher anti-tumor effects is of paramount importance. Thus, genome-editing technologies, in particular, clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat (CRISPR)-Cas9 are currently being used to establish “off-the-shelf” CAR-T cells with robust resistance to immune cell-suppressive molecules. In fact, that simultaneous ablation of PD-1, T cell receptor alpha constant (TRAC or TCR), and also β-2 microglobulin (B2M) by CRISPR-Cas9 technique can support the manufacture of universal CAR-T cells with robust resistance to PD-L1. . Indeed, the ablation of β2M or TARC can severely hinder swift elimination of allogeneic T cells those express foreign HLA-I molecules, and thereby enables the generation of CAR-T cells from allogeneic healthy donors T cells with higher persistence in vivo. Herein, we will deliver a brief overview of the CAR-T cell application in the context of tumor immunotherapy. More importantly, we will discuss recent finding concerning the application of genome editing technologies for preparing universal CAR-T cells or cells that can effectively counter tumor escape, with a special focus on CRISPR-Cas9 technology.

The multiple Exp-function method is employed for searching the multiple soliton solutions for the (2+1)-dimensional generalized Hirota-Satsuma-Ito (HSI) equation, which contain one-soliton, two-soliton, and triple-soliton kind solutions. Then the lump and interaction solutions are also obtained by the Hirota method for the aforementioned equation. For these obtained solutions, they are mentioned in the theory of the shallow water wave. On the other hand, these three-dimensional, contour, density, and two-dimensional stereograms of the 1-, 2-soliton solutions are depicted with the physical parameter changing. The physical phenomena of these gained multiple soliton solutions are analyzed and indicated in figures by selecting suitable values.

The weldability of the AA2024-T3 and AZ31 Mg alloys was investigated using the modified friction stir clinching-brazing (MFSC-B) and probe-less friction stir spot brazing (PFSSB) processes. A 50 µm thick Zn foil-interlayer was sandwiched between the dissimilar base materials for the welding processes. The mechanical, microstructure, and weld-fracture behaviors of all joints were studied and compared. Zn-rich interdiffusion-aided lamellar and blocky structures are found at the brazed region/zone of the AA2024-T3/Zn/AZ31 joint irrespective of the welding process due to the sole influence of heat input at the zone. The differential flow in the MFSC-B joint enforces significant inter-material mingling, better distribution of Zn, and more subgrains/dislocation density at the joint as compared to the PFSSB joint. The interlayer inhibited the creation of the β-Al3Mg2 phase while the γ-Al12Mg17 phase could not be prevented in the AA2024-T3/Zn/AZ31 joints due to tool-induced atomic collision and diffusion–reaction mechanisms. Improved tensile/shear failure load is found in the MFSC-B joint (4369 N) as related to their PFSSB counterpart (3018 N) due to improved material flow (intermixing), and intense dislocation density. The MFSC-B process is thus recommended for dissimilar joining of Mg and Al alloys.

In this comparative study, we investigated different influential factors of mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) for improving productive and receptive language learning skills. To do this, 100 scientific research papers were selected from the top and high-quality journals based on the implications of MALL in higher education language learning. Eight papers were selected according to the specific criteria to categorize the results based on language skills interpretation and technological concepts. Therefore, after thoroughly understanding proposed methodologies and comparing them properly, underlying assumptions about this phenomenon are elaborated, and holistic and sustainable solutions are provided to address this idea. The results of this analysis indicated that Mobile devices are being utilized extensively in developing countries, with vocabulary being the primary language learning area assisted by technology and yielding satisfactory results. According to the findings of this comparative study, LINE and WhatsApp would be of interest among university students to improve receptively (listening and reading) and productivity (writing and speaking), respectively. Moreover, the technology acceptance model (TAM) would be a prominent option for teachers to adapt their current and future educational programs instead of only in-person teaching to improve students’ learning quality.

Industry 4.0 is a shift from the previous industry shape. Automation is as a result of technology involving electrical energy. Changes occur and lead to paperless and humanless, but these changes require preparation both in the industrial world and in other supporting worlds. Data is a different side of technology. Data involves many different concepts from the industrial world, even though either data of the industrial world involve the same technology. Specifically, data management is different than industry management. This paper reviews integrated management based on data science, a science that studies the behavior of data. As a result, integration requires data structuring steps from Industry 4.0 and structuring data for Industry 4.0.

Principles in the logic and the sets form the basis of many societal solutions that are present with physical as well as non-physical phenomena. Non-physical phenomena, for example present language variables that require the presence of the fuzzy logic and the fuzzy sets. Although specific verification of the rules used remains the same, the systematic verification for the fuzzy sets requires a strategy, including when implementing it into a computer program. The final problem has the answer to the change in the operator implemented in the program.

One of the problems in data science is related to data management, especially big data. It is indirectly related to algorithms in computer science. Multi-criteria derived from features have become character objects. When measurements are made of them by weighting methods, each criterion is a decision. Thus, criteria as object behavior may be static or dynamic. As a decision, multi-criteria require analysis and modeling to become an optimal decision. Various models and methods of finishing are available but require special attention. Therefore, this paper describes the relationships between them briefly. Each object will build its own vector space through naming and weighting its characteristics. Based on the vector space, it is possible to measure the similarity between objects where certain parts of an object no longer need to decipher its behavior by simply referring to the measured part of another object. In this case, the similarity measurement tool can streamline the process or reduce the complexity of processing data by referring to other object characteristics. However, there are many similarities in the used measurement. Each measurement has a meaning, and this requires proof of each measurement in common so that the meaning indicates the measurement function either in theory or computationally in simulation.

Physics, biology, chemistry, for example, do not already only study programs in many universities but are at the forefront of the development of science, and that is science itself. The development of the basic foundation becomes the mother of science, such as mathematics, as a suspicion of the birth of new sciences. The interests related to the life and welfare of humans always invites the possibility of the birth of science in concepts, but mathematics confirms it. In certain cases, as an application, or it gives birth to answers in technology form, which is distorted according to the social demands of society. Every science has its methodology, which is based on the logic that helps to reason. A natural model is an approach to generating methods, as well as the principles that develop in artificial intelligence based on mathematics. This principle not only changes the way of perceiving data, but it also establishes new definitions of data, and changes statistics, optimization, and other fields. Each science also has implications for other sciences but also has applications that are also related to other sciences. Every science supports technology to improve social welfare. Historically, century by century, many new scientific fields were born, and it has evidence from the publication of scientific works to books as scientific standards. Then, the teaching curricula supported its initial dissemination and its development through research with evidence of scientific publications either through papers in proceedings of scientific meetings or articles in the journals. A study program about science in the related faculty is mandatory, and it is as the spearhead in further scientific and technological development. So everything starts and ends at one point, namely the birth of new science, as the birth of data science. This paper describes the birth of science by involving historical traces. The reflection of scientific development is starting from the foundation to become a scientific field, namely data science. It also illustrates the roadmap of a scientific indirectly.

To improve the quality of students in higher education is inseparable from how the performance of lecturers in the teaching-learning process. The quality of lecturers greatly influences how the quality of graduates will be. Qualified lecturers can be seen from the lecturers' performance in delivering learning material, assessment, discipline, behaviour and appearance. Lecturer performance evaluation can be assessed by students and assessors by study programs through questionnaires in which there are several aspects of assessment. The data processing of the questionnaire will use the Tsukamoto fuzzy method. The Mamdani method is often also known as the average method. In this method, there are 4 the stage for obtaining output, namely the formation of fuzzy sets, application function implications, rule composition and defuzzification. With the fuzzy mamdani method, information will be generated in the form of output of the success level of the teaching lecturer.

The braid group is a structure. It has the concepts and the implementations in graphics: points, lines, and some crosses. The crosses are also positive and negative. A braid not only forms graphs, but in different structures based on mathematics. So far, the braids only applies to discrete concepts, but it is possible to present a fuzzy concept. By applying computing to symbols representing the braids, the concept towards fuzzy as generating the form of another structure.

Self-Organizing Map (SOM) is an unsupervised artificial neural network algorithm. Even though this algorithm is known to be an appealing clustering method,many efforts to improve its performance are still pursued in various research works. In order to gain faster computation time, for instance, running SOM in parallel had been focused in many previous research works. Utilization of the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) as a parallel calculation engine is also continuously improved. However, total computation time in parallel SOM is still not optimal on processing large dataset. In this research, we propose a combination of Dynamic Parallel and Hyper-Q to further improve the performance of parallel SOM in terms of faster computing time. Dynamic Parallel and Hyper-Q are utilized on the process of calculating distance and searching best-matching unit (BMU), while updating weight and its neighbors are performed using Hyper-Q only. Result of this study indicates an increase in SOM parallel performance up to two times faster compared to those without using Dynamic Parallel and Hyper-Q.

To establishment of the city always begins because the availability of natural resources that meet the basic needs of its inhabitants, but after that the city relies on the sustainability of those basic need, which is primarily dependent on transportation. Transportation becomes the main needs of the city. Transportation, however, results in the potential for the city's discomfort with noise and pollution, which mixes with the frenetic city life. Therefore, this paper reveals a basic framework using natural resources to reduce the noise and the pollution.

Coconut trees have contributed to the social life of mankind, ranging from basic personal needs such as food to the need to manage the environment. Human life requires not only food, but requires an artistic need. Certain art affects social life psychologically, and the human psychological condition is also influenced by the environment of life, especially garbage. A few of calligraphy art is designed based on using the garbage. Therefore, this paper aims to propose the calligraphy based on the use of natural garbage from coconut trees.

The angle and direction of motion play an important role in the ability of a multifunctional machine to be able to perform the task to be charged. The movement can be a rotational action that appears to perform a round, by which the rotation can be done by connecting the generator by hand through the help of a hinge formed from two rounded surfaces. The rotation of the entire arm can be carried out by the interconnection between two surfaces having a jagged ring. This link will change according to the angle of motion, and any yeast of the serration will have a share in the success of this process, therefore a robust hand measurement model is established based on canonical provisions.
