Dr. Poater Albert

Prof. Albert Poater is an Associate Professor and ICREA academic professor at the Department of Chemistry, Universitat de Girona. Albert does research in Organometallic Chemistry. His educational experience is a Ph.D. in Chemistry, supervised by Miquel Duran and Miquel Solà, at the University of Girona in 2006. His scientific career includes being an associate professor at the University of Girona in 2019. His primary research interests lie in investigations of understanding the mechanism involving bioinorganic and inorganic molecules and organometallic catalysis. He has published over 300 papers, collecting more than 14000 citations (H = 65), in DFT calculations on the mechanism of inorganic and organometallic catalysis and predictive catalysis by tools to describe reactivity.
