Wenteng Xu obtained his Ph.D at the University of Munich. He is now working as an associate professor at the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute (YSFRI), Chinese Academy of Sciences.
His research interests include the functionality of genes involved in the sex determination process of Chinese tongue sole (Cynoglossus semilaevis), e.g., spermatogenesis-related genes and female-specific genes.
