Dr. Zheng-Ming Huang is a professor at the School of Aerospace Engineering & Applied Mechanics, Tongji University, China. He developed a bridging model theory for the analysis of composite failure and ultimate strength, which has been assessed by the “Failure Olympics” to be the most accurate micromechanics theory. He is the author/co-author of more than 160 peer-reviewed papers, 3 books, 4 book chapters, and 17 patents. One of his papers has been cited more than 5000 times worldwide, the most cited paper authored by a Chinese mainland scholar. He received a Yangtze River Scholarship award from the Ministry of Education of China.
