Marcos Escobar-Anel is a professor at the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences at the University of Western Ontario. He obtained his Doctor in Philosophy degree from the department of Mathematics at the University of Toronto. He has authored over 70 papers in Mathematical Finance, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics, having published, among others, in the Journal of Banking and Finance as well as Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and Quantitative Finance. He has supervised more than 40 HQPs.
