Alireza Alfi received his B.S. degree from the Ferdowsi University of Mash-had, Mashhad, Iran, in 2000, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2002 and 2007, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He joined the Shahrood University of Technology, Shahroud, Iran, in 2008, where he is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering. His research interests include control theory, fractional order systems, time delay systems, multi-agent systems, and optimization and evolutionary algorithms.
