Prof. Dr. Jeroen Lavrijsen holds a Master's degree in Mathematics, and he obtained his PhD in Educational Sciences in 2016. Since 2017, he has worked at the Expertise Centre TALENT (KU Leuven), conducting research on the themes of cognitive giftedness, challenging education, motivation, and learning hunger. He works as a research coordinator at the Inter-University Expertise Center (KU Leuven, UGent, UAntwerpen). He is also responsible for the implementation of the TH!NK research project (funded by FWO-Vlaanderen) on promoting hunger for learning in students.
