Dr. Carla Gasbarri received her Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2004 and is currently Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara (Italy). She is the corresponding author of more than 40% of her scientific production, including publications based on international collaborations. Her research projects focus on the synthesis of silver nanoparticles and their interactions with natural and bioactive compounds; the kinetics and thermodynamics of the isomerization reaction of azobenzene and photoreactive molecules; keto-enol tautomerism and reversible reactions in organic solvents, aqueous solutions, and non-conventional media; and the preparation of supramolecular aggregates as liposomes, micelles, and host/guest inclusion complexes for applications as delivery systems.
