I started my formation with a B.Sc. in Biology (2015) in Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM, Spain), followed by a M.Sc. in Psychobiology of Addictions (2018) in Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED, Spain). In 2023, I finished my PhD thesis entitled “Relevance of cannabinoids in preclinical models of psychiatric disorders”, in the Biological Science and Technology program from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M, Spain), obtaining a maximum ‘cum laude’ qualification, and being awarded with the ‘Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado’ from UC3M (2022-2023). I performed my PhD thesis in the Preclinical Neuroimaging Group - Medical Imaging Laboratory of the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Gregorio Marañón (IiSGM, Spain), where I was supported by the ‘Programa Intramural de Impulso a la Investigación’ of IiSGM (2019-2021). I joined Dr. Cortés-Canteli’s laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher in Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Fundación Jiménez Díaz (IIS-FJD), where my main focus is to evaluate different neuroimaging biomarkers for in vivo detection of the pro-coagulant state in animal models of Alzheimer’s disease. During my research career I have participated in 5 research projects, authored eleven articles, two review articles and one book chapter, as well as over 30 national and international congress communications.
