Prof. Jixing Sun is an associate professor at the Traction Power Supply Institute, School of Electrical Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University. He earned a doctoral degree in Power Systems and Automation from Southwest Jiaotong University from 2009 to 2014. After that, he continued to learn as a postdoctoral fellow at the High Voltage Research Institute, China Electric Power Research Institute. He has won second prize from the Science and Technology Awards of the China Railway Society. In addition, he also serves as a member of the expert group of the National Enterprise Technology Sub center of the China Railway High-speed Railway Group, the Youth Study Group of the High Voltage Special Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering, and the Society of Electrical Engineering and as a reviewer for journals such as IET Science, Measurement & Technology, IET High Voltage, and High Voltage Technology. His research focuses on high voltage and insulation technology, power systems and their automation, and electrical engineering.
