Dr. Md. Golam Hafez

Dr. Hafez was born in Panchagar, Bangladesh. He received the B. Sc. (Honors) degree in Mathematics and M. Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi, Bangladesh in 2004 and 2006, respectively. He also received the M. Phil. degree in Mathematical Physics from the University of Chittagong, Chittagong, Bangladesh in 2011 and Ph.D. degree in Plasma physics from the University of Rajshahi, Rajshahi, Bangladesh in 2018. Since 2020, he is an Associate Professor with the Department of Mathematics, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Chittagong, Bangladesh. His current research interests are in the general areas of plasma physics, mathematical physics, application of fractional calculus, Bifurcation analysis, and chaotic motion of dynamical systems. I am working on the development of fluid model equations to study the physical issues in multi-component astrophysical and space plasmas. I am also teaching and researching coherent structures, Pattern formations, Soliton theory, Nonlinear optics, Water wave dynamics, and Quantum field theory.
