Dr. Venkataswarup Tiriveedhi is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences, College of Life & Physical Sciences, Tennessee State University. He graduated in Medicine from Osmania Medical College, India, and obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the University of Southern Mississippi. Subsequently, he did Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Biology at the Johns Hopkins University and in Immunogenetics at the Washington University School of Medicine. He also completed his MBA at the Tennessee State University. His research interest is the role of cytokines in the development of inflammatory-injury-mediated carcinogenesis.
