Prof. Dr. Davide Vione is an Italian chemist and academic. He is a professor of chemistry at the University of Torino. He earned his PhD in Chemistry in 2001 from the University of Torino, Italy, and since 2018, he has been a full professor of environmental chemistry (Department of Chemistry). He is associated with the European Association of Chemistry and the Environment, and has served as its president from 2016 to 2017. His main research interests focus on the photochemical processes taking place in surface waters and atmospheric aerosols. In 2003, he received the Young Researcher Award from the European Association of Chemistry and the Environment, of which he has been a board member since 2013. He has authored over 275 scientific articles.
