Dr. Awais Ahmad

Awais Ahmad is an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science, Air University, Islamabad Pakistan. Previously, he was working as an assistant professor at the department of Information and Communication Engineering, Yeungnam University, South Korea. He was also a postdoc researcher at the University degli Studi di Milano, Italy, where he was working on demosaicking and denoising information assurance. Dr. Awais has published more then 150 articles in IEEE Wireless Communication Magazine, IEEE Communication Magazine, IEEE and ACM Transactions. His research interests include big data, analytics, demosaicking and denoising, artificial intellignece, deep learning/machine learning. Dr. Awais also serves as a guest editor in various Elsevier and Springer Journals, chair and co-chair in IEEE conferences, and TPC member in more then 20 international conferences. He also received three prestigious awards: i) IEEE Best Paper award at the 2015 Smart World Congress, Beijing, China; ii) Best Paper nomination award at WCECS 2011, USA, iii) Best Paper award at the first Symposium on CS&E 2013, Moju Resort, Korea.
