Andrejs Podgornovs received his Dr. sc. ing. (2009) degree from Riga Technical University, in the field of electrical engineering. He has been an associate professor of RTU since 2015. His main research interests are electrical machines, the numerical modelling of magnetic fields, electric power supply quality assessments, and electrical measurements.
