Dr. Jovanka King is a Consultant Paediatric Immunologist and Immunopathologist and a dual fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and Royal Australasian College of Pathologists (RCPA). She has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of pediatric and adult patients with inborn errors of immunity (primary immunodeficiency diseases), an area in which she has both clinical and research experience at a national and international level. She completed a PhD in Immunology in 2018 through the University of Adelaide and the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. Her doctoral research focused on newborn screening for inborn errors of immunity. She is currently appointed as a Consultant Paediatric Clinical Immunologist, Clinical Academic, and Immunopathologist at the Women’s & Children’s Health Network, Adelaide, the University of Adelaide, and SA Pathology.
