Lucas Lamata is Associate Professor of Theoretical Physics at Universidad de Sevilla, Spain. He carried out his PhD at the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC, Madrid), and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Later on, he was a Humboldt Fellow and a Max-Planck Postdoctoral Fellow for more than three years at the Max-Planck Institute for Quantum Optics in Garching, Germany. After this, he was a Marie Curie Fellow, a Ramón y Cajal Tenure Track Fellow, and Staff Scientist, at Universidad del País Vasco. Finally, he moved to Seville for his current Associate Professor position.
