Reza Rashidi received his Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2010 and completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Development of Biomedical Sensing Devices in 2011. He is currently an Associate Professor and the Department Chair at State University of New York, Alfred State College. He has over 16 years of industrial experience, with the most recent one at Siemens. His research interests are MEMS, sensors and actuators, energy harvesting, and biomedical devices. He was recipients of many prestigious awards including the 2008 British Columbia Innovation award, administered by the BC province, Canada. He has written several research articles and is currently a reviewer of several journals and conferences worldwide.
