Dr. Loeb is a Professor of Biology and Forestry at Penn State DuBois. His research focuses on the ecology and management of urban forests. Also, Dr. Loeb is conducting research on the forest ecology, soils and management of urban natural areas in Nashville, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. In addition, he studies the historical floras of gardens and urban parks with undergraduates. Dr. Loeb teaches introductory biology for majors and non-majors as well as introductory soil science.
