Born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1966. PhD in Remote Sensing; MSc in Soil and Water Resource Management; MSc/BSc in Land Reclamation/Agronomy. Visiting Professor in the Mediterranean Agronomic Institutes of Chania & Bari, the Open Hellenic University, the International Hellenic University, and the American Farm School. Reviewer for the European Commission. Member of the Hellenic National Committee to Combat Desertification. Expert for the Greek Court of Justice. Coordinator of internationally and nationally co-funded research and operational projects in Land Use Modelling, Soil Erosion, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Precision Agriculture. Peer-reviewed publications in international journals of high reputation.
