Prof. Dr. WALAA KHALAF

Walaa Khalaf was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1974. He received a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Mustansiriyah, Iraq, in 1996, an M.Sc. degree in electronic and telecommunication engineering from the University of Mustansiriyah, Iraq in 2001, and a Ph.D. degree in operations research from the University of Calabria, Italy in 2008. Since 2009, he has been working in the Computer Engineering Department of the University of Mustansiriyah as Professor of Image Processing and Machine Learning. His research interests include image processing and machine learning. He has published more than 28 articles and is a reviewer of many Scopus and WOS Journals.
