I hold a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Patras (Greece), having previously completed post-graduate studies at the U.F.R. de Psychologie et Sciences de l'Education at the University of Provence (Aix-Marseille I), while I hold a first degree from the University of Patras (Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education). I am currently Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. In the past, I worked for five years as an early childhood teacher in public schools and as a lecturer at the University of Patras before joining the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. My current research interests include participatory methods in research with children and educational practice, play pedagogy, children's funds of knowledge and drawing activity, science and mathematics learning in early childhood education.
