PhD student in marine biotechnology under the supervision of Dr. Katherine Duncan at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. Funded through the IBioIC (Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre), a collaborative training partnership between academia and industry, with Xanthella Ltd, Oban, UK as my industrial sponsor. Research interests are marine natural products, particularly biotechnological applications of marine microalgae. My PhD work focuses on eliciting the production of high-value metabolites from marine microalgal species using abiotic stress (OSMAC approach) and light.
