Krzysztof Komeza obtained his Ph.D. in 1983 and his D.Sc. in 1995 from the same university. Since 1998, he has worked as a professor at the Technical University of Lodz. His research interests include computational electromagnetics, efficient finite element computations and coupled field computations, and the design and optimization of electrical machines. He has undertaken a number of consultancies for the electrical machinery industry. He has published over 180 papers and two monographs in Polish. He is a senior member of the IEEE, Industrial Electronics Society, and ICS.
