Carlos Eduardo Cugnasca received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from EPUSP in 1980, an M.Sc. (1987), a Ph.D. (1992), and free-teaching in Electrical Engineering in the area of Information Technology in Agribusiness and Environment (2002) from the same school. He has been a Professor in the PCS at EPUSP since 1988, occupying the position of Associate Professor 3. He teaches undergraduate, graduate, and extension subjects and is a doctoral and master's advisor in the program of Electrical Engineering at EPUSP and of the Logistics Systems Engineering program, having supervised doctors, masters, scientific initiation scholarship holders, and the completion of undergraduate courses and specializations. He was elected Vice-Head of the PCS for the 2016-2018-2020 biennia and President of the Culture and Extension Committee of the EPUSP (2017-2018-2020). He is an ad hoc Advisor to several institutions, such as FAPESP, CNPq, EMBRAPA, FINEP, CAPES, SCTDE-SP, FACEPE, and the USP Incubator Center for Technological Companies. He is the co-author of several books in Brazil and abroad, the co-author of patents, has more than 200 articles and published works, some receiving awards in Brazil and abroad, and frequently presents lectures.
