Information

Nam Kim received his Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, in 1988. Since 1989, he has been a professor at the School of Information and Communication Engineering at Chungbuk National University. From 1992 to 1993, he spent one year as a visiting researcher in Dr. Goodman’s group at Stanford University. In addition, he attended Caltech as a visiting professor from 2000 to 2001. He is interested in 3D display and visualization systems; 3D medical imaging systems; 3D image processing and applications based on stereoscopic, holography, integral imaging techniques; and diffractive optics.
