Seome Michael Swafo received his Master of Science in Agriculture in Soil Science from the University of Limpopo in 2023 and is now pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Soil Science. His Master of Science research on integrating digital soil mapping in land use planning marks the start of a scientific career in classical and geostatistics, with applications in land evaluation and pedometrics. He is a soil physics, soil mineralogy and soil chemistry lecturer at the University of Limpopo. His research topics mainly include Land evaluation, soil spatial variability, soil survey, soil classification, soil fertility, geostatistics, geographic information systems, soil organic matter, land use change, soil structure, and soil hydraulic properties.
