Unang Supratman received a Ph.D. in Natural Products Chemistry at Osaka Prefecture University, Japan, in 2001. Currently, he holds a full Professor position at the Department of Chemistry, Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia, and is focused on Natural Products Chemistry in terms of exploring biologically active natural products from Indonesian tropical plants, including the Aglaia, Chisocheton, Dysoxylum, and Lansium genus, as well as from endophytic fungi.
