Associate Professor, Dr Ann Morrison is Associate Head of School – Research for Huri Te Ao / the School of Future Environments at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand. Morrison has a PhD in Information Technology from the University of Queensland, Australia, 2010. Morrison works within the larger field of human–computer interaction and interaction design focusing on tangible, urban, XR, and interactive cultural environments. She is currently working with Beyond Human Centred Computing and Design projects to improve futures for multispecies communities, systems, and environments. Designing for otherly abled and extreme environments produces improved solutions for all.
