Dr. RAUL BAÑOS

Raúl Baños Navarro is a Full Professor in the Department of Engineering of the University of Almería. Previously, he has been a lecturer/researcher at the University of Granada, University of Murcia, and Catholic University of Murcia. He has received the Computer Science Engineering degree (2001), European Ph.D. degree (extraordinary doctorate award) with a PhD thesis related to Parallel and Multi-Objective Optimization Methods Applied to Network problems in Engineering (2006), Diploma in Business Studies with awards (2007) from the University of Almería (Spain), and MSc in Economics (2015) from the UNED. Research stays at the Edinburgh Napier University (UK) and the University of Algarve (Portugal). Research interests focus on the fields of energy economics, renewable energy, network analysis, green computing, and engineering optimization.
