Short Biography

I am currently working as an university lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore campus. I received my master's degree from the School of Electronics, Information and Electrical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China in March 2019 with a major in Electrical Engineering, under supervision of Associate Professor M. Mansoor Khan. SJTU is internationally QS ranked at top 47. My research interests are in the general areas of distributed power generation system stability and associated control algorithms. My master's degree research has focused on fine tuning and synchronization of parallel connected three-phase power inverters, where essential task was to maintain the system stability and meet load demand power sharing amongst the multiple parallel connected distributed generations units in order to enhance the power quality of the grid system. In the long run, my research goal is to conduct stability analysis and design control measures to enhance or maintain the security and stability of modern smart grids integrating various renewable energy sources.
