Esteban Inga received his B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana and received his Master’s degree in Education and Social Development from the Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial in 2008, Quito, Ecuador. In 2017, he received his Master’s degree in Engineering at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, Medellín, Colombia. In 2018, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín, Colombia, with honorable mention Magna Cum Laude awarded as his thesis exceeded the expectations of what was proposed in the project, as agreed by the jury, and scientific production was demonstrated. He is the Coordinator of the GIREI Research Group. Currently, he is the Director of the Master’s Program in Information Communication Technology for Education. His research interests are green communications, advanced measurement infrastructure, smart grids, smart metering, heterogeneous wireless networks, wireless network planning, optimization, and graph theory. He is a Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, Quito, Ecuador.
