D.-L. Schultis was born in Berlin, Germany, in 1991. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Graz University of Technology in 2016 and the Dipl.-Ing. (equivalent to M.Sc.) from the TU Wien in 2017. From then, he was working as a project assistant at the Institute of Energy Systems and Electrical Drives, TU Wien. He received his doctorate (summa cum laude) in the Engineering Sciences Electrical Engineering at TU Wien in September 2021. Since April 2022, he is working as a Scientist at the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT).
