Prof. Dr. Yongsheng Ji is the
President of Xuzhou Chengrui Institute of Building Science and Technology and a
doctoral supervisor at the China
University of Mining and Technology. He worked at this university since 2003
and served successively as a lecturer, associate professor and professor. From 2007
to 2008 he went to the University of Calgary, Canada and from 2013 to 2014 he
went to the University of Waterloo, Canada, as a visiting scholar. He studied
for a Ph.D. degree at China University of Mining and Technology from 2003 to
2017. In addition, he is a national first-class registered structural engineer,
the chief expert of green smart building materials in Guangzhou, an exemplary
individual of science and technology in Pizhou and a member of the American
Concrete Institute (ACI). He has won the one-third prize of the Jiangsu
Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the first prize of the Henan
Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. He mainly engages in research
work in the fields of durability theory and technology of engineering
structures, new high-performance and functional material technology, solid
waste building material recycling technology, and new prefabricated structure
technology.
