Pedro Dinis Gaspar has a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Professor in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering of the University of Beira Interior (UBI), Portugal. He is an integrated researcher at the R&D Centre for Mechanics and Aerospace Science and Technologies (CMAST), a researcher at the Food4Sustainability CoLab, and a collaborator researcher at the ALLab—Assisted Living Computing and Telecommunications Laboratory, Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT). He has participated in/coordinated several national (FCT
and other funding sources) and international research projects (EU and other regions) as well as R&D&I contracts with the industry, mostly related to energy efficiency, energy conservation systems, and automatic systems (AI, robotics, and automated systems).
