Prof. Dr. Peide Han

Peide Han is a Professor at the College of Materials Science and Engineering, Taiyuan University of Technology, and the Head of the Department of Materials Physics and Chemistry. He obtained his M.S. in Metal Materials and Heat Treatment from the Taiyuan University of Technology in 1993 and a Ph.D. in Materials Processing from the Taiyuan University of Technology and Peking University Joint Program in 2005. From 2001 to 2003, he worked at the State Key Laboratory of Electron Microscopy, Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also the Director of the Academic Committee of Materials Discipline at the Taiyuan University of Technology, the Executive Director of Metallographic and Microanalytical Branch, Chinese Society of Body Vision, the Executive Director of China Pulsar Navigation Expert Committee, the Vice President of Shanxi Heat Treatment Society and the Executive Director of Shanxi Corrosion and Protection Society. His research keywords include segregation, first principles, N interface, adhesive behavior and electrochemical property.
