FANG-MING YU was born in I-Lan, Taiwan, Republic of China (R.O.C.). He received a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the National Central University, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 2003. He is presently an associate professor with the department of electrical engineering at St. John’s University, New Taipei City, Taiwan. He has authored or co-authored over 70 technical publications in refereed journals, conference presentations and invention patents. His research interests include fuzzy theory and control, neural network applications, information electronics, and green energy.
