My research has predominantly been in the diagnosis and control of enteric diseases of pigs, specialising in the epidemiology, immunity, eradication and treatment of proliferative enteropathy. My research also includes molecular typing and identifying bacterial virulence factors, and the importance of the host including their intestinal microbiome, immune response and genetics.
